Fair, warm Tuesday weather nationwide even as typhoon nears PAR — Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — The state weather bureau is monitoring a typhoon outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) but generally fair weather is expected nationwide on Tuesday. 

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Typhoon Mindulle was last spotted 1,495 km east of extreme northern Luzon, and is expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility Tuesday night.

 “Walang direktang epekto ang bagyo sa panahon sa bansa, pero malawak ang kanyang wind field, so yung kanyang trough o extension ay umaabot sa Bicol at Eastern Visayas,” Pagasa weather specialist Ariel Rojas said.

 “Halos walang makakapal na kaulapan dito, generally fair and warm conditions ang mararanasan ngayong araw sa buong bansa except for isolated thunderstorms lalo na sa hapon at sa gabi,” Rojas added.

 (There are almost no thick clouds in the area, hence, generally fair and warm conditions will be experienced nationwide, except for isolated thunderstorms in afternoon and night.)

Pagasa added that no gale warnings have been raised over any of the seaboards nationwide.
