Ex-drug convict busted anew in Lucena
LUCENA CITY – A woman, who authorities said was previously convicted of a drug-related offense, was arrested here in a buy-bust operation on Monday, police said Tuesday.
Police Leuitenant Colonel Romulo Albacea, Lucena City police chief, reported that anti-narcotics agents nabbed Rowena Porta, 35, after she sold P500 worth of shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer in Barangay (village) Gulang-Gulang at around 4 p.m.
The suspect yielded four sachets of shabu worth an estimated P31,000.
Porta, authorities said, was “convicted on previous drug case.”
Porta will face a formal complaint for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
