According to Galvez, the majority of the vaccines will be distributed to several provinces, specifically in Regions 3, 4A, 6, 7,11, 2, 1 and 9, while doses that will be distributed in Metro Manila are solely for second dose vaccinations only.
Galvez said that with this shipment, the total vaccines delivered in the country has now reached 69.7 million.
“By the end of October we are looking to have more or less about 100 million vaccines delivered,” he added, partly in Filipino.
Meanwhile, fully vaccinated individuals are now at 20,205,806, according to Galvez, while those administered with only the first dose are at 23,609,600.
