P3.4 million worth of ‘shabu’ seized in Manila; 1 suspect arrested – PDEA

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested a suspected drug pusher in Intramuros, Manila on Sunday, seizing P3.4 million worth of “shabu,” otherwise known as crystal meth.

PDEA identified the suspect as Musa Nasrudin Baguilan who was arrested at 11:45 a.m., right in front of the Bureau of Immigration in Intramuros.

Authorities confiscated 500 grams of shabu from the suspect estimated to be worth P3.4 million.

PDEA said the suspect has been detained and is set to face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.”
