MANILA, Philippines — The Tau Omega Mu Fraternity and Ladies Circle (TOM) will hold a series of activities to mark the organization’s 49th anniversary this October and finalize a yearlong program for its 50th anniversary in 2022.

TOM members from all over the world are encouraged to join a virtual convergence on Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. (Manila time). Small groups of Omegans will also hold actual social gatherings in selected chapters here and abroad and subsequently link up in one big, fun virtual gathering on Oct. 16 and 17. Activities lined up include a medical mission, anti-COVID donations, food distribution for indigents, fund drive for charitable institutions/orphanages, tree planting, bloodletting, sports competitions and a grand ballroom celebration next year. The organization was founded in October 1972 at the University of the Philippines Manila. For more information, email [email protected] or contact any of the organizing committee members (Emily Quevedo-Duterte, Jun Que, Cely Binoya, Gel Generoso-Jacaria, Maya Campana, and Chicoy Enerio).
