MANILA, Philippines — Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) have arrested five individuals in Malabon City and seized from them some 15 grams of crystal meth or “shabu” worth P102,000.
PDEA identified the suspects as Sherly Balidoy Panuelos, 63 years old; Ronalyn Ruegas Reyes, 33; Joselino Latagan Glodo, 48; Jay Fernandez Patrimonio, 37; and Levie Dela Cruz Herrera, 46.
All suspects were from Malabon, except for Patrimonio who is a resident of Caloocan City.

The five were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Mabolo Road Barangay Potrero, Malabon City, on Tuesday afternoon which also resulted in the dismantling of a drug den in the area.
Aside from the illegal drug, authorities likewise confiscated from the scene various drug paraphernalia as well as the buy-bust money amounting to P1,000.
