16 more cops in Central Luzon test positive for COVID-19

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Sixteen more cops in Central Luzon tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday (September 19).

Latest data from the health service of Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) showed that with the new infections, their active cases are now up to 224.

At least 14 more cops were logged as recovered from the disease on the same day, pushing the total number of recoveries to 2,388.

The death toll stood at six as no fatalities were added in the tally on Sunday.

So far, PRO3 reported 2,618 total cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic started last year.
