2 local parties form alliance with Pacquiao’s PDP-Laban wing
MANILA, Philippines — Two local political parties based in the Visayas and Mindanao have formed an alliance with the PDP-Laban faction led by Senator Manny Pacquiao.
Ron Munsayac, executive director of Pacquiao’s PDP-Laban wing, said the People’s Champ Movement (PCM) and Probinsiya Muna Development Initiative (Promdi) political parties have signed alliance agreements that express support for the senator.
The alliance between the three parties has been dubbed as the MP3 alliance, said Munsayac.
“The alliance agreement was signed by MP3 alliance head Sen. Manny Pacquiao, PDP Laban Chairman Sen. Koko Pimentel, Promdi President Mimo Osmeña, and PCM legal counsel Atty. [Jeng] Gacal,” Munsayac said in a Facebook post Saturday.
The PCM is a political party based in General Santos City, while Promdi is a political party based in Cebu.
