Over 53 percent of Central Luzon cops fully vaccinated vs COVID-19

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – Some 8,282 or about 53.4 percent of the 15,524 police officers in Central Luzon have been fully inoculated against COVID-19, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) Health Service said on Friday, Sept. 10.

It said some 6,328 or about 40.8 percent of the police force in the region had also received their first doses of Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna or Sputnik V vaccines and are waiting for their second doses.

The fully and partially vaccinated police officers belong to the PRO3 and the regional support units.

The health service said some 2,417 police officers were vaccinated by the PRO3 Medical and Dental Unit while 12,103 were inoculated by the local government units where the lawmen are assigned.

The regional medical and dental unit also vaccinated some dependents of the PRO3 police officers.
