QC bust yields P140,000 worth of illegal drugs, 3 suspects arrested
MANILA, Philippines — Anti-narcotics operatives arrested three drug suspects and seized P140,000 worth of illegal drugs in two separate buy-bust operations in Quezon City.
The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) identified the first arrested suspect as Richard Shainne Paul Ramo, 26 years old. He was arrested at around 4:45 p.m. in Barangay Pinyahan, Quezon City on Tuesday, Sept. 7.
Seized from the suspect were 50 grams of high-grade marijuana valued at P72,000.
Meanwhile, another buy-bust operation led to the arrest of Arnold Urzua, 42 years old, and Kc-Lyn Alpay, 30 years old.
The two were arrested along Tandang Sora Ave. in Barangay Pasong Tamo, Quezon city at around 6:20 p.m. also last Tuesday. Police seized 10 grams of shabu worth P68,000 from the suspects.
Article continues after this advertisementAll suspects will be charged for violation of R.A. 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 while the confiscated evidence will be submitted to the QCPD Crime Laboratory Office for chemical analysis and documentation.
