MAWIN’S Kitchen routed Albertos-Hodenz, 93-85, while SG Boys crushed Coca-Cola, 79-65, at the start of the Mawin’s Kitchen Basketball Cup-2012, First Conference basketball tournament at the Vicente Sotto Memorial gym.
A total of 10 teams are seeing action in the event including Mawin’s Kitchen, JDS/Coca-Cola, Raddison Blu Hotel, Albertos, Dewfoam, Metro Bank, Jardulls, SG Boys, Gym Boys/AMBL and Port Waterfront.
Rex Millan and Oliver Sanoy fired 12 points apiece to lead Mawin’s Kitchen while Sherwin Lequit and Mat Vallejo combined for 21 points. /Correspondent Dale Rosal
