Oil companies raise prices of diesel, gasoline anew
Pump prices increased for the second week in a row, this time by 95 centavos per liter of diesel and 50 centavos per liter of gasoline as a recent hurricane in the Americas disrupted the supply chain. Caltex raised prices at 12:01 a.m. while Petron, Shell, Seaoil, PTT and Phoenix followed at 6 a.m. Petron, Shell, Caltex and Seaoil also raised prices of kerosene by 60 centavos per liter. The Asian benchmark Dubai crude was at $69.49 per barrel as of Sept. 2, rising from $69.24 per barrel a week earlier.
