Olongapo taps another COVID-19 vaccine site to inoculate more essential workers
OLONGAPO CITY—The local government has tapped another COVID-19 vaccination site to speed up its inoculation program for essential workers, officials said on Monday.
According to the local COVID-19 task force, the city’s Rizal Triangle Multipurpose Center will be the latest venue for the mass vaccination.
The public facility beside the city hall is only the second vaccination site in this city. It is also situated near two public markets.
According to the local task force, a dry run of the vaccination will be held at the Rizal Triangle on Tuesday.
The SMX Convention Center of SM Olongapo Central has been the major vaccination site of the city and could accommodate at least 1,000 people at one time. INQ
