MANILA, Philippines — Nothing is definite so far regarding Vice President Leni Robredo’s plans — and alliances — for the 2022 national elections even as she is set to meet with Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Senator Manny Pacquiao separately, Robredo’s spokesperson, lawyer Barry Gutierrez said on Thursday.
Robredo revealed she and Pacquiao agreed to meet and talk about the 2022 elections. Moreno, on the other hand, had worked with Robredo in the first iteration of the Office of the Vice President’s Vaccine Express.
“Wala pa namang sarado, lahat naman ng mga usapan ongoing. Wala pa namang nagpapahayag na, ‘O tapos na. Basta diretso na ako dito.’ Wala pang ganoon,” Gutierrez told One PH’s Sa Totoo Lang.
“So, babalitaan namin kayo kapag nagkaroon ng developments diyan. Definitely, kapag nag-announce si VP, isang malaking, well, announcement iyon na ipapaalam namin sa lahat ng mga naghihintay,” he added.
