20-story Pedro Gil Residences to rise in Manila City
MANILA, Philippines — The city government of Manila will start the construction of 20-story Pedro Gil Residences in San Andres Bukid after it broke ground on Monday.
“We will not stop. We will put roof over people’s heads. Bibigyan natin ng kapanatagan sa pamumuhay ang mga taong habangbuhay na lang nangungupahan. We will give them homes,” Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso said in a statement.

The Pedro Gil Residences will have 309 residential units with two bedrooms, 125 parking slots, health center, five elevators for residential units, swimming pool, activity lawn, function room, fitness center, a garden at the roof deck on the 6th floor, five units of rentable space, outdoor activity area in three floors, a basketball court at the roof deck.
Informal settlers, renters, and government employees may use the space for P2,000 per month.

The Pedro Gil Residences is the fifth housing project of the local government unit for informal settlers and renters in the city of Manila. The other projects are the Tondominium 1, Tondominium 2, Binondominium, and the BaseCommunity.
