Article continues after this advertisementTHE Lapu-Lapu City government and barangay Pajo officials are asked to act on the complaints of residents living below the first Mandaue-Mactan bridge about the garbage dumped in their area.
Sacks and plastics of garbage were seen below the bridge in the Lapu-Lapu side, which caused a bad smell in the area and allegedly caused some children to suffer diarrhea, said Environmentalist and Air shed Governing Board member, Vince Cinches.
