COVID-19 infects 7 more PNP personnel in Central Luzon

OLONGAPO CITY––At least seven more personnel of the Philippine National Police in Central Luzon have contracted COVID-19, the latest data showed on Sunday, Aug. 22.

The new cases pushed to 153 the active cases among the personnel of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) based on the record from its health service.

The PRO3 has logged 2,183 COVID-19 cases since last year, but 2,025 of them have recovered, including the three new ones on Sunday. The PRO3’s recovery rate is still high at 92.7 percent.

Its death toll remained at five, with no new deaths in the past weeks.
