Hot, humid weather to persist as Tropical Depression Isang seen to miss PH – Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — The country will have hot, humid weather for the time being as Tropical Depression being monitored by the weather bureau is not expected to directly affect it, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
Pagasa senior weather specialist Chriz Perez said Tropical Depression “Isang,” was last spotted 1290 km east of Tuguegarao City, as of 3 p.m.
It is currently moving northwest at the speed of 25 kilometers per hour (kph) and has maximum sustained winds of 45kph and gusts at 55kph.

(So continue to expect hot and humid weather tomorrow, except for some scattered rains and lightning especially in the afternoon and evening.)
Isang, the 9th storm to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) this year is not expected to make landfall and should exit the northern boundary of PAR by Sunday.

(These offshore thunderstorm activities will bring rain and gusts of wind that can also cause the ocean waves to rise.)
