TUGUEGARAO CITY––The number of COVID-19 patients undergoing self-isolation or home quarantine in Cagayan province has climbed to 474, records from the provincial epidemiology and surveillance unit showed.

Most of these patients live in this city where the government-run Cagayan Valley Medical Center, a regional hospital, is located. The hospital has reached its full capacity, its management said.

The other home-quarantined COVID-19 patients are in the towns of Baggao, Alcala, Allacapan, Claveria, Lal-lo, and Sto. Niño.

As of Wednesday, the number of active COVID-19 cases in Cagayan ballooned to 3,183 with 348 new cases. At least 1,108 of these active cases were recorded in Tuguegarao.
