Hashish tablets, marijuana leaves worth P150K seized in Isabela town

GAMU, Isabela––A 28-year-old tricycle driver yielded two hashish (illegal weed) tablets and marijuana worth P151,200 during a buy-bust operation Monday, Aug. 16, in this town, authorities said.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency reported that Jemart Villanueva was caught with 50 grams of hashish tablets and 10 grams of marijuana leaves.
Also recovered from Villanueva were a loaded improvised shotgun, a motorcycle with a sidecar used in the transaction, and a mobile phone.
The suspect was charged with illegal possession of firearms and violation of the anti-drugs law.
