10% of PH population now fully vaccinated vs COVID-19 – Galvez
MANILA, Philippines — A little over 10 percent of the Philippine population has been vaccinated against COVID-19, Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., the national vaccine manager, announced on Sunday at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, where he oversaw the arrival of more than 300,000 Moderna doses.

A little over 24.1 million various doses have been administered nationwide — 12.9 million for the first dose and 11.2 million for the second dose, according to Galvez.
The total number of people who got the second dose, he added, represents 15.88 percent of the targeted eligible population — that is, adults aged 18 and above — and also 10.13 percent of the total population.
“Our numbers are very good, and we can see that within the span of two days we can get one million [doses],” he said, speaking partly in Filipino.
