4.2-magnitude quake shakes Zambales

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales––A magnitude 4.2 earthquake jolted this province at 3:26 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.

In its bulletin, Phivolcs said the tectonic earthquake’s epicenter was located 38 kilometers southwest of San Felipe town and had a depth of 18 km.

No damage or aftershocks were expected, Phivolcs said. INQ
