Olongapo logs 44 new COVID-19 infections, 3 deaths

OLONGAPO CITY––The local COVID-19 task force recorded 44 new infections and three more deaths related to the disease from July 31 to Aug. 1.

The new patients brought the city’s active cases to 203. These nclude three children aged 3 to 8 years old.

Local health data also showed that the total number of COVID-19 cases in the city had climbed to 2,975 since last year, but 2,605 of these had been cleared from the virus.

The city’s death toll rose to 167 with the addition of three fatalities.
