Angeles City logs 40 new COVID-19 cases, 1 death

ANGELES CITY, Pampanga––The city government reported Wednesday 40 new COVID-19 cases and one death.

The new patients increased the active cases in this city to 399 on Wednesday from 371 on Tuesday.

The city also reported that a resident of Barangay Margot had died from the COVID-19 bringing the COVID-19 deaths here to 319.

A total of 7,304 residents have contracted COVID-19 since the pandemic began last year. Of these, 6,589 have recovered.

The city’s biggest village of Balibago has the most active cases at 43, followed by Sto. Domingo with 33, and Pampang with 28.
