LOOK: VP Robredo attends Duterte’s last Sona online

Vice President Leni Robredo attended President Rodrigo Duterte’s last Sona through online means as she has yet to be fully vaccinated.

MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Leni Robredo attended President Rodrigo Duterte’s last State of the Nation Address (Sona) on Monday, July 26, through online means as she has yet to be fully vaccinated.

Robredo posted on her Facebook account a photo of her wearing a royal blue gown while tuning into Duterte’s Sona.

“SONA 2021 about to start,” Robredo said.

Previously, it was announced that Robredo was not given an invitation to attend the Sona physically, which was eventually clarified as an invite to be present at the Batasang Pambansa.

However, since Robredo was not yet fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by the time of Duterte’s Sona, she opted to attend online.
