Active COVID-19 cases in Olongapo City drop to 190

OLONGAPO CITY—The active COVID-19 cases in this city again dropped to less than 200 after 18 more patients were cleared of the viral disease on Tuesday (July 13).

Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. said 190 active infections remained as the number of recoveries rose to 2,376.

The city continues to post an 87.5-recovery rate out of the 2,715 total infections registered since last year.

Paulino said 15 additional COVID-19 patients, aged 22 to 76, were also logged on Tuesday.

The city’s death toll slightly rose to 149 on the same day after a 71-year-old woman succumbed to the disease.
