Suspected drug pusher nabbed in buy-bust in Calapan City

CITY OF CALAPAN – A man was arrested in a buy-bust operation by police and anti-drug agents on Tuesday afternoon in this city, according to a report from Calapan police.

Calapan City Drugs Enforcement Team and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency arrested at 4:30 p.m. Jefferson Balauag, 38, while selling a poseur buyer a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth) valued at P500 in Barangay (village) Sta. Isabel.

The suspect, a resident of Barangay San Isidro in Puerto Galera town and described in the police report as a performer, will be charged for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
