Zambales logs 40 new COVID-19 cases

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales – At least 40 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported Friday in this province.

Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said among the new cases are three children aged 4 to 8 years old and 10 older citizens aged 60 to 95 years old.

Most of the new patients have ailments or exposed to COVID-19 patients.

Bueno also reported that 21 patients had recovered from the disease on the same day.

The province has logged 3,609 COVID-19 patients since 2020, of whom 3,160 recovered and 85 died.
