Bohol rolls out 5,000 doses of Sputnik V

TAGBILARAN CITY –The provincial government of Bohol has rolled out 5,000 doses of Sputnik V as part of its vaccination program for tourism workers.

The vaccination drive was held at Bellevue Resort and Modala Beach Resort – the two hotels that passed the Department of Health (DOH) criteria to serve as vaccination sites.

According to the Provincial Planning and Development Office, the tourism industry in Bohol is one of the largest contributors to its local economy.

“Thus, the vaccination program for the tourism workers in the province is seen as a big step in the reopening of its national and international tourism under the green zone concept of the Department of Tourism,” it added.
