More than 10,000 inoculated in Quezon City

More than 10,000 employees from 62 government agencies located in Quezon City have been inoculated with COVID-19 vaccines, according to the city government.

Among the agencies were the Department of Agrarian Reform, the Department of Agriculture, National Housing Authority, Commission on Higher Education and National Power Corp.

According to Mona Yap, who heads the vaccination of government agencies, teams from the City Health Department visit the vaccination sites to make sure that the jabs are rolled out properly.

Agencies with 10 to 20 employees who availed of the city’s vaccination program were inoculated at one of the designated venues.

As of Tuesday, a total of 796,825 doses have been administered in the city. Of the total, 572,853 went to the first dose while 223,972 went to the second dose.
