MANILA, Philippines — The Navotas City government is eyeing to have “night vaccinations” for workers in the city’s fish port.

According to Navotas City Mayor Toby Tiangco, the city government is finishing its vaccination for those working in the fish port in the morning. After this, those who are working at night will be vaccinated.

“Pagkatapos ng mga umaga, ‘yung mga pang-gabi naman sa Navotas City Fish Port ang aming babakunahan,” he added.

The Philippines has managed to give 350,000 COVID-19 vaccinations in a day, making it the highest number of vaccinations done in one day, National Task Force against COVID-19 deputy chief implementer Vince Dizon said on June 24.

So far, about 9.1 million COVID-19 doses have been administered in the country, as of June 23, according to Health Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje.
