Davao City National High School advances

THE DAVAO CITY National High School volleybelles came all the way back from two sets down to upset the fancied Ateneo de Davao University, 23-25, 16-25, 25-21, 25-19, 15-9, to rule the Shakey’s Girls Volleyball League Davao leg at the Ladislawa Garden Village gym in Davao City last Sunday.

The stunning win gave the DCNHS belles a spot in the upcoming Tournament of Champions, where they will go up against the best girls volleyball squads in the country which also includes Cebu’s own Pajo National High School, the Central Visayas leg champions. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
