“Inaasahan natin na up to 6,000 [jabs] a day ang capacity nitong vaccination center at siyempre ‘yung mga iba’t ibang kumpanya na umangkat [ng bakuna] sa pamamagitan ng tripartite agreement, ‘yung kanilang mga empleyado ay pupunta rito para magpabakuna,” he said in a press briefing at the Solaire COVID-19 vaccination site.

Roque said the private sector’s initiative to vaccinate their employees with their own resources and facilities is a “game-changer” in the country’s COVID-19 vaccination program as this would further accelerate the pace of immunization.

This would help the government achieve 500,000 vaccinations daily to achieve herd immunity within the year. Vaccinations have reached 350,000 per day, according to Roque.
