3 more patients in Olongapo City lose battle with COVID-19
OLONGAPO CITY — Three more patients in this city have lost their battle with COVID-19 but 24 others survived the viral disease, local health data showed on Tuesday, June 22.
The three new fatalities were a 76-year-old woman, a 36-year-old man, and a 68-year-old woman.
Their deaths raised to 132 the total number of people who succumbed to COVID-19 in the city.
But its number of recoveries had climbed to 2,074 out of the 2,445 infections logged since last year.
At least 12 new cases, aged 26-86, were also registered on Tuesday.
So far, the active COVID-19 cases here had dropped from 251 to 236 within two days.
