MANILA, Philippines — Another 150 COVID-19 patients have died, raising the death toll to 20,169 as of Wednesday, data from the Department of Health (DOH) showed.
The DOH said this represents 1.69 percent of all the 1,193,976 confirmed cases in the country reported since the start of the pandemic last year.
Another 46,037 remain active cases, while 1.12 million have recovered.
Of the active cases, 2.2 percent are severe while 1.7 percent are critical.
Meanwhile, 92.5 percent are mild, 2.1 percent are asymptomatic, and 1.51 percent are moderate cases.
Cumulative data from DOH case bulletins showed there are a total of 722 deaths reported from May 20 to 26—an average of 103 deaths logged per day from the said period.
There are 795 deaths reported from May 13 to 19, amounting to an average of 113 deaths.
