DPWH starts structural analysis of PGH

/ 05:14 AM May 23, 2021

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has begun its structural analysis and material testing of samples extracted from the damaged portion of the Philippine General Hospital (PGH). Public Works Secretary Mark Villar said DPWH engineers were expected to finish the structural analysis and submit their report and recommendations for the necessary repairs and restoration next week. “No one can tell the level of damage until a proper and thorough assessment and laboratory evaluation of material sample components have been done,” Villar said on Saturday.
