Representative Oaminal gets the virus

Deputy Speaker and Misamis Occidental Rep. Henry Oaminal has tested positive for the new coronavirus. In a statement on his Facebook account on Monday, Oaminal said he was swabbed after experiencing body malaise and fever. “Following COVID-19 protocols, I will be on quarantine for 14 days. At the same time, our residence is on lockdown and marked accordingly,” he said. He advised those he had in contact with since May 15 to go on quarantine and contact their city health offices for contact tracing.
