Man shot in the genitals after attacker approached him to borrow lighter, phone

A man was unexpectedly shot in the genitals after the attacker asked for a light and to borrow his phone in Arkansas in the United States.

The man, whose name was withheld, said he was just smoking outdoors when the attacker approached him, as per Fox affiliate KLRT-TV yesterday, May 11.

After asking to borrow his lighter and phone, the man suddenly shot him in the genitals for no apparent reason. The attack occurred at around 2 a.m., according to Little Rock police.

The culprit did not steal anything from the victim and the cause of the attack was still unknown as of this writing.
