Police find improvised bomb near GenSan bus terminal
GENERAL SANTOS CITY –– Police bomb experts today disarmed a bomb near the bus terminal in this city.
Col. Gilberto Tuzon, city police director, said they were looking into who left the improvised explosive device and their motives.
The improvised bomb was fashioned out of a grenade with a triggering device and placed in a biscuit can.
Workers found the bomb outside the office of Husky Bus, a transport firm that plies between this city and Cotabato City via Maguindanao province.
The discovery of the explosive came days after the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters attacked Datu Paglas town in Maguindanao on May 9.
