10 drug suspects nabbed, P162K ‘shabu’ seized in Naga City

LEGAZPI CITY –– Ten suspected drug pushers were arrested while P162,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) was seized in separate search operations in Naga City, Camarines Sur, on Wednesday, April 28, police said Thursday.

Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, spokesperson of the Naga City police, said arrested were Araceli Arbuis, 67, and her daughters Portia, 28, and Anjaneth, 30.

They were nabbed in separate houses in the villages of Sagrada and San Felipe at 5:20 p.m.

Bongon said police served three separate search warrants against the suspects.

Recovered from them were 27 sachets or nine grams of shabu worth P60,000, said Bongon.

At around 3 p.m., police conducted separate operations in the village of Lerma and arrested Bryan Trasmer, 31; Susana Bacod, 30; Marcelino Nodado, 42; Napoleon Bongat, 48; Bobby Imperial, 54; Mark Omnis, 19; and Carlito Magnate, 64.

At least nine sachets or 15 grams of shabu worth P102,000 were seized in the operation, Bongon said.
