MANILA, Philippines — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) announced Wednesday that they are offering free bus rides along EDSA to health care workers (HCW) and authorized persons outside residence (APOR) who need to get to their workplaces.

According to LTFRB, free rides for HCWs and APORs will be available until the Enhanced Community Quarantine in Metro Manila and nearby provinces of Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal is lifted.

Meanwhile, the Department of Transportation, Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board, Land Transportation Office, InterAgency Council for Traffic, Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group, and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority are working hand in hand to ensure the strict enforcement of health protocols in public transportation.
