‘Drug den’ dismantled in Zambales; 6 suspects held

SUBIC, ZAMBALES –– Anti-narcotics agents on Monday raided an alleged drug den here and arrested six suspected drug traders.

Police identified the suspects as Joel Dela Cruz, Bienbenido Espinoso, Domingo Sioco, Sagani Okerya, Isnalin Ussam, and Princess Joy Lacaba.

Espinoso and Ussam are on the local drug watch list, investigators said.

Seized from the suspects were six sachets containing “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P140,000.

Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Central Luzon and local police conducted the raid in Purok 5, Barangay Matain, after placing the area under surveillance.

The suspects will be charged with violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
