MANILA, Philippines — The Skyway Stage 3, which links North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) to the elevated highway above the South Luzon Expressway (SLEx), will be closed indefinitely starting at 5 p.m. of March 16, the San Miguel Corp. (SMC) Infrastructure announced on Twitter.

The closure is in compliance with a directive issued by the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB).

The tollway will only be reopened once all ramps to and from it have been completed.

The Skyway Stage 3 was opened on Dec. 28, 2020, with the SMC promising to waive toll fees for a month before it finalizes the road. The fee-less trips continued well into March, as TRB said that SMC Infrastructure could not collect toll fees unless the skyway is finished and unless the fees are approved.
