2 more Olongapo City health care workers infected with coronavirus

OLONGAPO CITY—Two more health care workers in the city had tested positive for SARS Cov2, the virus that causes COVID-19, on Wednesday (March 3), officials said.

In a statement, Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr., said the male health care workers, aged 27 and 31, were close contacts of a colleague who had been infected earlier.

Health data in the city showed that 11 other health care workers in the city were infected with coronavirus since Feb. 24.

As of Thursday (March 4), the city has recorded 1,065 total COVID-19 cases since 2020. with 1,006 recoveries and 46 deaths.
