Cops nab 2 drug suspects in Lucena City

LUCENA CITY – Police arrested two drug suspects in separate buy-bust operations here on Friday and Saturday.
Lieutenant Colonel Romulo Albacea, Lucena City police chief, identified the suspects as Fritch Bryan Onan, 21, and Reynaldo Cuarto, 51.
Ona was collared after he sold a pack of shabu (crystal meth) to undercover agents in Barangay (village) 4 at around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
Authorities seized five sachets of shabu with an estimated street value of P15,200.
Cuarto was busted in another drug sting in Barangay Isabang around 5 p.m. Friday. He yielded five sachets of shabu worth P7,140 in the street market.
Both suspects were detained at the city jail and will face a complaint for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
