UK opens‍ vaccine clinic for delivery of shots

/ 05:10 AM February 19, 2021

The British Embassy in Manila has launched a vaccine clinic to help in the safe delivery of the COVID vaccine in the Philippines.

The UK-Philippines Vaccine Clinic, in partnership with the University of the Philippines-College of Public Health, pools technical resources between the two countries to share learning on safely delivering the vaccine.

According to British Ambassador Daniel Pruce, the knowledge-exchange clinic echoes the Philippine government’s “one of society” approach in tackling COVID-19 and demonstrates the Filipino value of “walang iwanan” (nobody is left behind). —TINA G. SANTOS
