Pagasa expects more chilly days ahead

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Wednesday the country may experience chilly weather, especially during the weekend. Weather specialist Ariel Rojas said the temperature in Metro Manila could drop to 22 degrees Celsius on the weekend and even colder—as low as 10 degrees—in Baguio City. So far the coldest temperature in Metro Manila was recorded in Quezon City on Jan. 13 at 20.6 degrees. —JHESSET O. ENANO
