An 18-year-old boy from South Wales, United Kingdom has been jailed after selling cocaine on the social media app Snapchat.

Ethan Pope advertised his supply on his account and said he was offering them at “the cheapest price,” as per Metro yesterday, Jan. 13.

However, one of his friends (name withheld) eventually became “disgruntled” over his posts and tipped off the police.

Following the tip, authorities raided Pope’s home and retrieved a stash of cannabis worth around £1,000 ($1,300, P65,500). According to the report, the teenager had sold drugs from December 2017 up until last November.

Pope eventually pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cannabis and ketamine, as well as possession of Xanax. The court sentenced him to three years in jail.

Pope’s former friends and co-sellers, Adam O’Reilly, 18, and Kane Watkins, 19, were jailed for drug dealing last year. Ryan Arcadio/JB
