Slain drug suspect in Naga yields P400K worth of ‘shabu’

LEGAZPI CITY — A notorious drug suspect was killed in a buy-bust operation in Naga City, Camarines Sur on Saturday.

Police Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, Naga City police spokesperson, said Rey Inocensio, 40, drew his gun and fired shots after noticing the presence of the arresting police officers in Barangay (village) Triangulo at 12:05 p.m.

The police officers returned fire and the suspect was killed instantly.

Bongon said at least 60 grams of suspected shabu (crystal meth) worth P408,000 and a caliber .38 gun were recovered from Inocensio who was included in the illegal drugs watch list.
