ANGELES CITY—Pampanga real estate developer Jeffrey Dizon has increased to P3.2 million the reward money for credible information on the mastermind and other suspects behind attempts to have him killed.

In a statement, Dizon on Saturday said he pooled more cash for the original reward of P3 million as threats on his life resumed, citing recent incidents of being tailed by suspicious-looking men and women.

He first offered the reward after he was shot last February 29 as he took a call on his mobile phone.

In a report, the police confirmed finding three gunshots on the facade of his house in the family’s compound here. However, no empty slugs were found in what he called sniper’s attack.

He said he hoped that the additional reward would “persuade and encourage witnesses, accomplice, accessories or gunmen” to provide information on the brains behind the assassination attempt and recent casing incidents.

Brig. Gen Valeriano de Leon, Central Luzon regional police director, has assigned a team to periodically assess the businessman’s security situation since November.
